The BMW (2001 Z3 3.0i)
Not much of a story here. I bought this car in 2006 through eBay from a lady in Tennessee. Six years old at the time, it had about 19K miles and was the exact specification I would have ordered if I were buying the car new. My mom does not drive stick, but she flew down with me and we drove back to Maryland. Later I discovered that the tires had been rotated but the fronts and rears are different sizes! (Front: 225/45-17 | Rear: 245/40-17).
We made it home just fine, and the car never fails to make me (and now, my 18-year-old son) smile. Now that we live in Southern California that’s even more true.
